PS: Would anyone have any old copiesof Model Engineer from that era that might include his work? If so, might you find the time to glance through them. I know this is a ridiculous longshot, but apparently he was fairly regularly featured, and John remembers he specialised in building working model internal combustion engines, motor torpedo boats (about 5ft long) and locomotives (about 6ft long) |

Hi folks
I've joined up to try and find the name of a brilliant model maker who made models from his home in Willesdon, or Harlesdon, north London, not so far from Wembley. I'm writing a book with John Barnard, of F1 engineering fame, and John has described to me the amazing models this man contributed to Model Engineer back in the 1940s. Can anyone help?
