Gentlemen,
I enjoy MEW and dont find a problem with the number each year and I find all of the articles interesting even though I may not use them.
As to reading the magazine it does not take me very long at all particularly as I also have Practical Classics, stationary Engine and Steam Railway to read each month as I have interests in these and run a classic car and collect Stationary engines.

I dont envisage any problems fitting a three phase motor, at the moment
![]() The reason for change is the flexibility I will get, thread cutting wont be so frightning because of the fast lowest speed I currently have, DC Braking etc.
As it comes together I will keep you in the loop.

Gentlemen,
This is my first posting on this Forum and I'm wondering if anybody knows a supplier of good make 3/4hp three phase motors for my lathe.
I have recently acquired a Seimens 420 inverter and now I'm looking for a four pole motor to go with it to convert my lathe.
