The T slots seem to be imperial if thats of any use, the T width being 1/2" and the slot 1/8" high. The groove is 1/4" wide. |

For scribing graduation lines on feedscrew dials? There doesn't seem to be any scribe or point to make a line, the insert in the piece is a hollow divit. |

This piece holds a small insert
That has a screw to hold it in place and a hex screw to set the depth of the insert. |

Currently searching brocants and vide greniers for a nice french clock to restore. Welcome along Neil, the Cowells is a fine machine. I get to Northern Ireland a couple of times a year for the Motorcycle racing and visiting the wife's family. Thanks for the welcome Chris, I live in the South but go up North quite a bit, I raced RC Cars in the North for many years. Have a few friends who are regulars at the North West 200. I spotted the Cowells online , there was an auction selling a load of stuff from a guy who was into large guage scratch built model trains, there was only one other bidder and I just needed it more, got it very cheap in the end. There was a box of accessories a few lots later and I was the only bidder on those . practically stole them. |
