Thanks very much for the kind words. I'm really enjoying making the videos, although that in itself is a bit of a journey, learning new skills in editing/filming etc, and it's great to hear back from people who are watching and enjoying them. Thanks! All the very best Tommy |

Hi everyone, I was wondering what everyone else watches on YouTube in the clock and watch department. Clickspring (obviously), James P Palmer, Reuben Schoots, Dean DK, Uri Tuchman (almost horology) The Watches TV etc. I've got a channel myself that some of you may find interesting. Hi Bob, Thanks for the feedback. I’m new to the videos and still a bit self conscious about the sound of my voice on them! I will make sure episode 3 has more talking though. |

It's Autosol watered down to almost a liquid with Parafin. Your quite correct, 'restoring' is probably not quite the right term, however, it is a bit more than a service. The client has requested that the clock be brought back to as new condition, and as it is now about 15 years old and has been moved a couple of times it does have a good amount of tarnish and handling marks/fingerprints all over it. Mechanically there are some areas of damage which will be covered in later episodes. |

Hi all, I am currently working on a sublime double pendulum regulator made by Buchanan of Chelmsford. I am documenting my work on youtube, but will in due course write a blog post about it. For now, here is the latest youtube episode. |

I agree with Clive, that has a feeling of Aciera about it. An F2 (ish) with modifications perhaps? |

Hi to everyone on this fascinating and most helpful forum. My name is Tommy and I am a clockmaker in Cheshire. I scratch build clocks both as bespoke new builds and as replicas. I also carry out restoration on some fascinating clocks and chronometers. My workshop is something of a geek fest of Swiss and English machines. Looking forward to chatting with you all. All the very best, Tommy
