Bill, It's sad to see anyone reach a point when they can no longer enjoy their chosen hobby, however, don't give up on the forum too soon: us youngsters (mid-50s) can still benefit from your knowledge. Actually, the hinge is quite sturdy... the worst thing about it is the feel* of the trackpad, but all the other computers in the house are Apple: so maybe I'm a bit biased. * This seems to be a fairly common problem that can be easily sorted by a competent person. |

I read most of them 35-40 years back... the one that sticks out in my mind is 'What Happened To The Corbetts', a strangely prophetic novel of the blitz on Southampton written prewar in 1938! |
