Hi

My favourite location for cast iron is ebay. Look for large postal weights these can be bought very cheaply and machine great.

Hi all,

My name is John Payne at present residing near Chelmsford Essex. I am 68 years old and a retired military armourer.

I have always been into woodworking but have recently setup a metalworking workshop with a Chinese 7 X 16 lathe and SX2 mill with the aim of developing a electrical control valve for pre-charged air weapons.

At present I am modify the lathe and mill to correct some of their problems, hence the purchase of MEW. At present I am looking for a decent indexer for the lathe, looked at several mostly American yet to find something that works maybe have to design my own.

Look forward to communicating as things progress.
