Hi all. I'm new to lathe work an have owned a Chester 1236 for about six months with no problems. I have been practicing thread cutting today with good success. However the lead screw has stopped rotating with no apparent reason. I have checked everything is engaged but has no affect. Any pointers or ideas what could be wrong would be much appreciated.

I also can't fine any info on my lathe It has Chester 1236 gap bed lathe on the front and the only document i have, is an inspection record which has C06 Serial Family Bench Lathe. Model C06230c. MFG no 020968. Date 2002.5.

It look like an earlier model of the Chester Crusader but i can't find any reference to it anywhere.
