I've also been watching some of Keith Appletons videos of him repairin steams engines and work at the Steam Workshop witch and given me some idea of the work involved in making these models.

The place I've been doing some volunteer work has some big lathe and mill (I think it's all covered up) the place is called Mainline Steam.

I'm pretty sure I got it all off before I silver soldered it and wasn't stuck very so just scraped off with I craft knife.It was quite strong afterwards.

How does the regular work does it slowly uncover a hole that the steam/air comes out of then into the cylinder.

I made water/oil contaner from 3mm copper sheet I first soft solder that didn't work so I silver soldered and I think I got good pen with it for my first try I was using LPG from a 9 KG gas bottle
