one of the guys next to me was doing just that! detailling a droid and popped out one day and came back with 2 model battleships and 3 planes, took a few pieces from each then sorted the lot into the 100s of drawers that lined his desk.

RE seized screw youve got plenty of good advice but i figure the collective might have some info regarding replacement? ive been tempted to replace my x screw with an m8x1 leadscrew.

glad to join! been browsing for a few years and finally started looking at the classifieds for some more robust equipment.

i have a unimat 3 (fitted with a 200w treadmill motor) and constantly seem to push it past its limits so some more machinery and knowledge is essential!

i work in film in animatronics so always doing weird bits, look forward to contributing and learning.
