Thanks for replies.Tim its a handle come housing to hold the device the black cable is 240v in, the orange 240 volt outThe device is mounted on a metal frame which then goes down inside the plastic handle.I thought the plastic may have come in two parts so I could bolt it on to the frame.Will make it out of delrin I think. |

Its the handle of a device that is used to treat honeybees by vaporizing oxalic acid.May be made up specially have been searching for something similar but no luck. |

Thank you for replies.I do have a spare D1-3 back plate so will end up using that.I have a set of R8 collets its a pity there wasn't some way of using these in the lathe. |

Jason the one you linked is DCGT 11T302 not DCGT 110302 do this not mean it won't be correct size because its T instead of 0?I have tried putting DCGT 1103 in to the search boxes of insert supply places and getting no results. |

Hi,I have a Sumitomo lathe tool and priced replacement tips for it which worked out over £10 each which is far too pricey for hobby work .Has anyone got one of these and has found a cheaper source of replacement tips?This is whats written on the insert box. |

Mike I would have thought I'd have needed some sort of transformer to bring me from 240 to 415 good to know it can be done this way.I would have thought there would have been a lot more people on here who had made there own converter. |

Hi John,I was told by a company that supply Vfds because it is a 2 speed and 415 volt only motor that it couldn't be run by a Vfd.Are you positive this can be done? |
