Might look like product promotion, but I vote 'not guilty'. Blue Heeler has posted many other videos of this type covering umpteen other small engines, old, new, Western and Far Eastern. Taken as a whole, his posts don't look like a sales pitch to me. Just sharing an interest in what's out there. Pays to suspect everything though - the internet is wild and hairy! Dave
Thanks Dave. |

Good little engine for a young boy well done, like the bucket to collect the condensate, is that just sanitiser for the burner? As well as a drop of meths whats the reason for using it? Graham G'day Graham, He really enjoyed making it and learning about brazing and everything else that was needed to get it up to running. Hand santiser is just an easy cheap fuel I've found for small boilers....the added spirits just makes it burn that little quicker but you don't really need it. |

Thread: Cotswold Heritage Perseus Model Steam Engine + Baker Fan |

G'day Mike, you should re-find it and have some fun setting it up. They are still fun to run off air, you could make a rather small copper boiler for it, they don't need all that much psi to get running. Have a nice Christmas. |

Cotswold Heritage Perseus Model Steam Engine + Baker Fan Great to hear the Perseus working against the Baker Fan and the three differences in the stepped pulley on the Baker fan really make a difference in the engines labor. And always a pleasure hearing one of Ozsteam Demons Chuff Pots working! |

Looks nice. Seems to run very well - better than any of my hot-air engine efforts! Is the maker the same one (Olds & Sons) that produces that elevator featured in posts a week or so back? rehards Mike
