I have found some literature that states that the following lathes were very similar but not identical:- JET - 1024 & 1036 ENCO - 92010 If anyone can help sourcing a tailstock would be greatly appreciated. |

Hi Chris Many thanks for your advice. I have been in touch with Dave, his answer was that he never found a source of spare parts. Therefor either adapt a tailstock from another lathe or find someone breaking said lathe. Cheers

you were right Chris, the bronze bushes were standard imperial sizes & easy to obtain. But will require drilling for the oil ways The `reverse shaft`(L5-2-179) & `The bearing`(L5-2-116) are both badly worn & require replacing. Can anybody point me in the direction of a spares supplier...?? Many Thanks. |

HI all, I want to strip my norton gearbox thats fitted to a Harrison L5a lathe. I have the gearbox off the lathe & partially stripped, but am unable to work out how to remove 2 of the shafts & corresponding gears.
