Hi Les I have to say thanks for posting the above schematic and picture, I had been pondering how to get a remote control starter for a Teco T-Verter to lock in for a few days, pardon the pun but the penny dropped when I saw your picture and schematic. I ordered a couple of SCR's from ebay and got the the unit to work first time but was a little careless when tiding up the wiring and broke one of the pins (they are really delicate) on the SCR so had to do it all again, you can see from the photo below it has turned out quite well. I will post more photos on my thread for my mini mill I started a while back as I don't want to hijack this thread. The company I used back in the '50's, that's 1950's not 1850's It was brilliant watching how they did the business on a giant steam receiver in a power station. Len. P. I have used the same company and in fact got some strips from the engineer and since made up a jig for drilling and inserting the strips, used on a diesel engine that had a cracked block job was a complete success. Hi Been browsing the forums for a few months now and finding my way around, some very interesting models and machine information which is where I need some help. I purchased the mill drill less a motor which someone has tried to alter , I would be grateful if someone could advise from the picture what model the mill is, if anyone has a parts list or could advise on the motor kW and frame size required that would be great. I realise you might require some measurements which I can post up. Ignore the pully sitting on top it was just a handy place to sit it. Thanks in advance |
