Thanks all. I love the picture. The sheer size of these "express tanks" is quite staggering. I will post a pic as soon as I can get it unloaded onto a clear bench! John

Hello - I wonder if you can help me. I just bought my next project at an auction - it is a 3.5" gauge 4-6-4 Baltic tank, about 2/3 complete. My question is - does anyone know what design this is from? The boiler has a square firebox top, and no obvious taper. I would say the wheels are noticeably smaller in diameter than my other locos (3.5" gauge schools and 3.5" Gauge PAMELA by LBSC.). Two cylinder and Walsherts vg. Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks

Thread: 5" Gauge 0-6-0 Billington Tank |

Many thanks John & Simon.
I wondered what the numbering was on the plan I have!. I have contacted Maxitrak for more details. That brought back long distant memories of driving a Helean Lassie around Maidstone track many years ago as a visitor. It was a great track.

hello
I have recently been given a part built 5" gauge 0-6-0 tank chassis and part built boiler. It has only two remaining drawings - a bit moth eaten as well - one is a boiler general arrangement and refers to the loco as a Henry Greenly "Billington". My dad and I think its an LBSCR design (NOT LBSC), but I can't find any other details on the web. Does anyone recognise this loco and would know where I can get the drawings? many thanks
