Mine still being developed. Works well with aluminium and brass BUT not tried steel yet as overhand may be a bit too much. Will move the holder further right. Geoff - if it goes bang on steel I'll know! Edited By OuBallie on 22/07/2018 11:15:48 |

Found this whilst tidying up in the Workshop. My other is an SA Austin Seven club one and will make a nice combination what with a very early AA one. Geoff - This weather has floored me. Edited By OuBallie on 22/07/2018 11:00:56 |

Posted by Neil Wyatt on 21/06/2018 21:01:19: I have one. The handle is essential if threading M12, but I recommend turning the lathe manually Works well. The VFD on the BH600G has a Jog function, and it works a treat in either direction. Out of Hospital and waiting for biopsy result. 🙏 Geoff - Takes me nearly a week now to get over a general anaesthetic. |

No problem in mine since insulating it. Carport's been 27-30° BUT Workshop a more comfortable 4-6° less. Geoff - The time and expense insulating well worth it.

Don't remember taking them in Landscape mode, but just took two more in Carport, Portrait & Landscape and the Landscape uploads as is but show in iOS Photos with large white bands top and bottom. Geoff - Must keep a watch on this.

The figures say it all. Working on the Seven in the Carport a definite no-no, but in the Workshop a joy by comparison. Why are photos being posted at 90° Geoff - Heat I like, BUT . . . .

Geoff, instead of prettying up yer workshop, you should be getting that Austin 7 back on the road before you are too old to enjoy it !! Speedy, I dare you to visit and describe it as pretty Functional yes. The cu piping is to give me easy and quick access to compressed air in place of the hoses on the floor, and tripping over them. Had to make adapters to fit Quick Couplers to the three outlets. One more connection to do then it's leak test time, then back into the Austin at last. Geoff - Hospital next Friday for waterworks pouch examination again |

After spending ages searching for it and walking past it to boot, I gave up and went inside for a cheese sarmie and tea.
Came back and saw it straight away. Geoff - Was installing cu piping for compressed air.

My first method of lifting the 4-jaw left a lot to be desired so soon revised that, but forgot to post as an update. So much easier to slide it onto the spindle now as no longer need to rest the chuck on that special piece of wood first, in order to remove the sling. Geoff - |

Revised method of getting the 4-jaw onto the spindle. Much easier now as I don't need to rest the chuck on that piece of wood, as previously to slide onto the spindle. Geoff - The screwed rod was at hand and just have not bothered to replace it. |
