Thread: ROB ROY DRAWINGS IN 5" OR 7.1/4" GAUGE AVAILABLE ?
08/04/2018 22:48:41

Does anyone know if Rob Roy drawings in 5" or 7.1/4" gauge exist or ever existed ?

I seem to think I have seen them somewhere but cant find any reference to them on the web.

Any help appreciated.

Thread: Centec 2 drop arm dimensions or for sale
13/05/2017 13:09:04

Thanks for the offer Bill, but sadly I'm in Mid Wales !

However I do go motorcycle racing at Darley Moor Circuit occasionally...... well to watch the Classic 50cc racing club anyway !

If I'm up your way I'll give you a shout.

That's absolutely terrific Gary, thank you so much.

I'll definitely go ahead now and make the parts.

Measured up my overarm and it looks like the correct one for my machine.

Got an accurate figure of 3.7/16" from the spindle centre to the arm mating face, so can go ahead now.

Very many thanks again I'm very grateful.

Watch this space !

Nick

Many thanks for the replies so far, I've sent an enquiry to Quillstar.

Very many thanks for the pictures Gary, it does look like a dead easy piece to make.

I could knock out an identical copy on my little CNC mill easily.

What is the bearing size Gary ?

Scaling up from your drawing it looks like 3/4" O.D. 1/2" I.D. is that right ?

Also what is the thread on the end of the arbour for the lock nut out of interest, and is it L>H. or RH thread ?

Any help much appreciated.

Hi,

Does anyone out there have a Centec 2b horizontal drop arm/ plate and arbour for sale, or could anyone who has one sketch out some dimensions for me so I can make one ?

Any help much appreciated.

Thread: Manufacturer Logo identification problem
25/02/2016 15:52:43

Yes I thought it might be a delta, no luck with finding manufacturers with DELTA in the name though.

Bought the machine second hand about 25 years ago and only just getting round to refurbishing it !!

The castings are mainly aluminium and a poor quality cast (perforated like a bath sponge ) but nicely machined.

I'll post a picture of the complete machine once its finished.

Does anyone recognise what manufacturer this machine tool logo belongs to ?

Its on a vintage bench top cutter grinder I'm refurbishing which has no other manufacturers details on it anywhere !!

Any help appreciated many thanks.
