thanks jason, that is unusual. i think it would look better with finned barrels wont know if its possible using the original castings untill i get them. |

you are spot on hopper it is a pump, I discovered two valves inside it when I dismantled it. it feeds the made up water tank in the picture. the copper tube at the right of the picture is a whistle which I made for my grandson,big mistake don't get much peace now! |

I have to disagree with you steve, a crane or forklift is often not practical on a house extension with poor access, been a slater for over 40 years and carry my slates on to the roof on most jobs. gary |
