Casting sand, swarf and filth everywhere, even in the oil trough around the top edge that feeds oil to the two spindle bearings. The factory responsible for assembly of these machines has quallity control standards that have reached rock bottom. Externaly it looks great but internaly truly apalling. When notified and questioned about the appalling condition of this new lathe and the earlier even worse 1330 I was given, the owner of Warco curtly replied that "We never have any problems, this Chinese factory is the equvelent of European factories." Well they don't quite look like it to me.
