Here are some photos of my scratch-built self-designed fifth scale radio controlled car. Car is 900mm long and weighs 12kg. It was originally designed for 22cc petrol power, but it has, at least temporarily, been converted to electric power with a large outrunner motor. Why Mk 1? Mk 2 is on the drawing board and will be improved in every respect! I have been working on this project on and off for ten years. It still needs some finishing off and trouble shooting, but is now a runner - for proof see YouTube for a rather poor quality video (search amdcustom1). For more details, see my personal website, www.amdcustom.com. For my model engineering tweets, see @alexmdupre.
