I spent my career as a Navigator in the Royal Canadian Air force prior to retirement in 1995. I flew in such things as Argus and Aurora(p3) and ende up in the back of Sea Kings off of Destroyers. I lost my flying category in a crash in New Brunswick in 1994. After retimement I bought a small metal lathe and some books intending on making small I/C engines. I joined the local model engineers club(Vancouver Island Model Engineers). All thoughts of I/C ended after being introduced to steam.Currently building a 7 1/2 inch guage 4-4-0 American type.
