I live in sunny Devon and have a garden workshop or shed as my wife calls it. I started my career in the Royal Navy as a marine engineer working down in the engine rooms of various warships mainly working on diesels and olympus gas turbines. After 9 years of service I left and started in the quarrying industry working on dump trucks, dozers and excavators. I have been working for toyota for the past 20 years as a field service engineer on fork lifts. I have an Axminster bv20 lathe, a little small but does ok at the moment also an Axminster mini mill. I have been model eng' for 2 years now as of 2010. have got lots to learn but loving it.
