Having completed an apprenticeship with ONC, HNC etc and worked for some years as a tool design draughtsman, I became Development Engineer for a general manufacturing company. Eventually after moving through Works Manager and Production Director I was appointed Managing Director, a post held for 25 years. I have moved on from management and now in my 60's returned to the Toolroom and enjoying work more now than for many a year! I have been a reader of Model Engineer for many years and enjoyed the experience immensly. Over the years I have found the answers to many problems through the pages of the mag. to assist with production and manufacturing difficulties.
