My name is Johan van Zanten, aged 69 . I live in Utrecht, the Netherlands. I started my modeling hobby long ago as a school boy with model aircraft. Line control was the norm back-then. About 10 years later, I switched to model boats because they don't fall so often. After a wile I started building steam propulsion for my (and other) boats and a new hobby was born. After our model boat club stopped, I switched to internal combustion engines, which I make for more than 25 years now.
