More about me:

I am a retired professional mechanical engineer and have been model engineering since my teens (over sixty years!). The principal machines in my workshop are a 5" Smart and Brown lathe and a Warco VMC mill. I am currently buildinga "Lion" based on LBSC's "Titfield Thunderbolt" design.  I completed an LBSCR "Terrier" POPLAR based ob the Martin Evans "Boxhill" design eighteen months ago .  I also have a 31/2" gauge "Tich" and a 5" gauge "Maid of Kent" to the LBSC designs together with a number of stationary engines of various types.
