Served an engineering apprenticeship as a toolmaker and worked in the engineering industry for 16 years, made redundant in 1983 and became a full time motorcycle riding instructor owning my own motorcycle rider training school. Had a life long interest in all types of model making in particular model engineering, flying model aircraft and model boats. Although motorcycle rider training is my main business I have a reasonably equiped workshop and undertake small production runs of specialist garage workshop equipment and model engineering items such as locomotives and tooling.
