Hello Everyone,

My name is Paul and I run The Knackler's Workshop YouTube channel, I also have an Instagram account of the same name, where I post one photo most days of something in my workshop.

I did a 4-year Fitter / Turner apprenticeship between 1976 and 1980 and in 1989 I moved into the world of software and remained there until 2020 when I was made redundant.

Looking for something to occupy my time I purchased a Unimat SL Lathe. Things have rather snowballed, and I now also own the following:

Long bed Tri-leva Myford ML7,
Myford ML3,
Dore Westbury Mk 2,
Deckle SO Tool and Cutter Grinder,
B.C.A. Jig Borer Mk 2,
A motorised Adept No 2 Shaping Machine,
I.M.E. Watchmakers Lathe,
Kennedy Hexacut hacksaw.

I hope that the experience of other members may be able to assist me should I have a problem and I would be most happy to share my knowledge and help anyone if I can.
