Semi retried after a long haul in construction with TaylorWoodrow (sadly now long gone). Taken up consultancy work to keep the mind busy, and bought a narrow boat which is our pastime. I do some target rifle shooting and shotgun at clays with some friends who are much better than I, but it's good fun.
Was a bee farmer once, but it's heavy hard work and long long hours in the summer, never any free time and the phone ringing off the hook. It's a younger mans operation.
In terms of engineering have an ML10 which I bought off a friend for £50 in 1993, included was a Myford Rodney miller which I have used but not very often, and recently bought a Centec 2A horizontal mill which was 2 miles up the road so it just had to be done. Been working on a Stuart 10V for the last 10 years, but work and stuff got in the way, so pulled it out the cupboard and looking to finish it off.
Update: July 2023
Rodney sold off, ML10 parked as now have Super7B and for some reason now two Centec mills. Stuart10v is finished.
