From 1961 I worked 18 years for a Birmingham firm of shopfitters, another 18 years doing special paint and art effects for BBC TV scenery, later also Central TV & films.

Later years I became a freelance architectural modelmaker & miniaturist making models for museums & collectors with customers all over the world. Featured in magazines & on TV and radio

Regardless of that I will point out that I have no real engineering skills and learn as I go along.

I'm now well & truly retired and enjoying pottering with my small vintage lathe collection which has 2 Pittler lathes, a Holbrook model B8, a South Bend 9" a Unimat I bought new in 1967 and a BTM watchmakers lathe. Emco Mentor Mill
