![]() 75 forum posts 7 photos | Hello Doubletop, Pleased to tell you that this is a very convenient form of woven glass fibre sold in various widths for the sealing of stove chimneys. Woodburner suppliers and independent builders merchants usually stock it, sold by the metre. I stuck it to the boiler with household impact adhesive, just to keep it in place for display. Cut ends will fray badly if not glued, but it is still a lot more robust than the wadding stuff often used. The inside of the steel cladding was lined with 2mm balsa also stuck in place and the bigger voids also stuffed with fibreglass wadding. Despite all this the flat surface on top of the firebox cladding will still keep a mug of tea nicely warm! Best Regards Nick
