247 forum posts 21 photos | On steam engines I have only ever used displacement type lubricators for cylinder and valve lubrication but on my latest engine I would like to use a more positive form of lubrication of the type used on traction engines ie a piston type driven from the engine. Are there any hard and fast rules on using this type? and how much oil should I aim for?
