Brown & Sharpe No 7 taper tooling required

5 forum posts	Hi. Does any one know of new or used Brown & Sharpe No7. taper tooling for sale in the UK or surplus tooling in private ownership. The above is to fit my Archdale vertical milling machine. Can any one identify this model?, table size 25"x10" serial No. V2227? I there a Manual out there that I could copy or buy. I have allready looked in all the obvious places/websites with out luck. with regards Morgan

7061 forum posts 719 photos	Hi Morgan, My gut feel is that B&S taper tooling is pretty rare in the UK. There may be the odd dealer with some hidden in the back room, but I expect that any individuals who have some have it because they need it , not because it is surplus. I think that B&S taper tooling is rather more common in the US. Try a search on: http://www.practicalmachinist.com/ Doing that I found this link: http://www.tools4cheap.net/products.php?cat=17 It might also be worth keeping an eye on Ebay in the US, ie, www.ebay.com, for surplus items.
