Darjeeling Port dimensions missing on drawing

By some miracle I received ME4392 today far earlier than expected.

I notice on pg 672 in the Darjeeling cylinder drawing at bottom left of page the port widths are dimensioned but not their spacing.

For the port drillings, I suggest a section view for each port, with the section cut perpendicular to the port face with an angle dimension for drilling, would be far more helpful to someone making these cylinders than a vague note about them being drilled at different angles.

Hi,

the exact method of setting out the port face is explained on page 619 of ME issue 4391
The spacing between the ports is 5/32"

Happy Christmas to all.

D. Mitchell.

Aha! thanks Donald, I have not received 4391 yet. Will watch for it, and thanks for the spacing number in the meantime.

Same Christmas greetings to you.
