I`m trying to find out who might have produced this little table size shaper. Me and my friend both have small machine shops for making parts to our vintage motorbikes. Each of us found such a shaper with only weeks between when hunting for stuff to fill in our shops. There is no name tag or any casted identification on the shaper tough I feel its made in England?

Hi there

What are the threads? On UK gear they would have been Whitworth, British Standard Fine and some BAs in the motor.

If it is British it could be a Perfecto. I have a copy of ME from 1947 showing an advert for something very similar.
