Good evening folks .

I am currently building a 5 inch gauge charlatan to black gates drawings , I've got my frames done with all the holes in the right place , I have machined a pair of horns as a trial , I've drilled the holes in the horn angle that lines up with the frame holes on the frame, however the horn edge that the axle box sits in seems to be over hanging the frame.

is the idea to machine it back when fitting axle boxes ?

any ideas greatly appreciated.
