Hi,

I am looking for a series of Mechanics magazines from 1946 that detailed the LBSC County (1000) Class construction.

A set of construction scans/photocopies for this 3 1/2" loco would be ideal.

Thankyou in advance.

TEE Publishing still do copies of some of the LBSC non-ME locos, I have the V2 and Caterpillar, neither of which are County Class, but no idea if the others are likewise not that type.

Under their 1000 class list of castings etc. Reeves 2000 also list links to 2 downloadable pdfs of the construction series which you may be able to use.

If you go to the Reeves 2000 website they have a download of the complete text only of the articles for this loco but you still need to buy the drawings from Reeves.

There are several other locos there as well if anyone is interested.
