1 forum posts | Hello everyone! my name is Robert and im new in this amazing group,it took me 30 min only to understand how to open a new topic so i hope i haven't done anything wrong..I would really appreciate your help guys,i do own a beautifull Emco 8.6 lathe complete of emco FB2 milling machine.im having serious problems with the bed twist and im spending so much time on it without great results,i realized that the weight of the milling machine increase that bed twist a lot so i would like to separate the milling machine from the lathe and here's start the complications. i managed to find only 1 emco fb2 working table from the past 5 months and has a cost of almost 2000 dollars plus shipping and import taxes from USA would end up more than 2600 usd which is crazy! so i went for a cheap chinese milling machine table but unfortunately all of them found so far has standard attachments for standard milling machine when instead the fb2 has a round column connected to his own base which neither fits on that type of table. So my question is:Any of you knows where can i buy an emco FB2 table?Originals would be almost impossible to find so a clone would be perfect but im willing to consider any options, like if you know any other milling machine brand that mount the same fb2 table, it doesnt need to be great quality since i will sell the lathe with mill in few months time..Thanks in advance |
