Hi everybody, thank you for letting me join this excellent forum. My name is Joe Bonnell, l live in Queensland Australia. I am a retired engineer and worked at a college in Toledo Ohio for 6 years. I am building a Simplex model 1 and have nearly all the chassis made. I have only to finish off the Swing links and connect them up. To ensure all the chassis parts were accurate, l ground all the parts square on a surface grinder. This made an enormous difference with the build. I enjoy fishing and photography, designing parts on the computer and building in wood.

I hope l can contribute to the forum and offer a lot of technical knowhow for everyone.

Welcome.

Your name suggests a connection with the fabricated version of the Quorn T&CG?
