Has anyone else built one of these? I'm about a third of the way through building one (just finished the boiler, cylinders done, some motion work, most of the chassis, about to start cylinders).

Interested in your experiences or tips; I've seen a few videos on youtube (including Myfordboy et al)

Thanks,

Jon

There is a very active e-mail /web group for 16mm live steam construction, **LINK** where there is a lot of information on both Wild Rose and Wild Rose Too.

I am in the process of building four at the moment ( 3 for grandchildren + 1 for me )

They will be gas fired from underfloor tank .

Have pressure tested boilers at home but awaiting opportunity to have club tester do job officially,

I was tempted to use the underfloor tank but I think I will do the footplate version out of convenience and the extra tank capacity.

Your grandchildren are very lucky!
