Hi all,

Have a tiny shed currently housing a chinese 7x14 mini-lathe (amadeal brushless), 3d printer, laser cutter, portable band saw and very much prototype cnc pillar drill (3 axis grbl arduino) converted for very light duty milling.

I enjoy solving various issues with the printer - knocking designs up originally in solvespace now in Fusion360.. and managed to allay my better half's fears on cost once I'd fixed the shower, the car and even the heating with it... that successful business case then led to the purchase of the lathe...

Since I bought the lathe a couple of years ago I've weirdly ended up turning more wood on it than metal (several dozen fountain pens) hence the wannabe status but now the itch to have a cnc milling capability is getting stronger... predictable project creep that probably means building an additional shed first... which means even more circling on mill choices and round we go nerd
