I am at the stage of completing the pipework for the top-feed on my GWR 3.5" gauge loco from the two injectors and the tender hand pump. I have made two vertical clacks for the top feed but now realise that I do not have any provision for the feed from the hand pump to the boiler other than the two top feeds. Would the injector feed be compromised if I tee into the injector feed for the hand pump?

Ken, not if you fit non return valves between the hand pump and injector feeds and the clack, so the injector and pump cannot feed back through the other.

Thanks Chris. I rather hoped that might be the case, but not having fitted injectors on previous builds I wasn't sure.
