I am looking to use the fan motor from a Morris Minor heater to build a better steam blower than is currently available commercially

I believe there has been an article on topic his in Model Engineer and wonder if anyone has built one and can give this novice a helping hand?

The blower will be used to fire a 71/4" narrow gauge gauge steam engine and use a speed controller to control the amount of draw.

Many thanks
