127 forum posts | I much enjoyed the various reports concerning Curly's designs - BUT- are you not aware that Curly djd not build MODEL locomotives? There is a great difference between a scale model and a miniature steam locomotive built to haul passengers! I have built locos to Curly's design and they all steamed well and hauled passengers, but I do not have the skill to build a model. Alas, I am now too old to build locos and I potter in my workshop but I shall always be thankful to Curly for introducing me to a world of steam; and because of him I eventually became a full size driver. If only I had had my present workshop when I was sixteen! Would someone please tell me where I can see some models actually built by Henry Greenly, not just designed on paper? All the best. richard2
