Machining required to fit ballscrews to a Chester Mill

![]() 1 forum posts | I'm in the process of converting my Chester 16V mill to CNC, and my current challenge is fitting ballscrews to the X and Y axes. I have built ballscrew mounts and figured out what needs to be done, but fitting these mounts is going to require some light milling on the base, cross-table and milling table of the mill. It doesn't need a big mill, in fact I reckon a similar size machine to mine would do the job quite comfortably. I'm looking for somebody located not too far from me (Horsham, West Sussex) who might be able to help me out Many thanks |
