driving and coupled wheels

4 forum posts | I have weathered the d & c wheels for 3 1/2" g "netta" . i was about to start basic machining when I noticed that the webbing between the spokes is so thick that machining the back of the wheel would not reveal the gaps between the spokes. I wondered if I should leave the webbed areas and gain some strength for the wheel or remove the metal by daisy-line drilling to get the proper aesthetic effect. can fellow me's give an opinion: I would not want to ruin these castings. thank you. billyboy |
