1 forum posts | Hi, I am seeking a copy of the article and drawings by J Mendez from 9 Feb 1933 on a 12" Mk V Howitzer on Railway Mount. My intent is to have the drawing rescaled and have It reproduced as a 3d model through one of the printing bureaus for a WW1 themed OO model railway layout. If there are other drawings of WW1 British railway guns available I would be equally appreciative of those. It was suggested by the ME editor that I join and ask this question here as the copy they have in archive is case bound and unsuitable for scanning.
Cheers, Chris Henderson Australia

883 forum posts 11 photos | Hi Chris I've got the issue that you're after - and in a form that I can scan it - the staples have given up and it's now a series of loose sheets!! It looks as though the article was a "stand-alone" in issue 1657, Feb 9 1933. I've looked in some of the following issues and it certainly doesn't follow the regular pattern of fortnightly, nor does it say at the end of the article "to be continued". If you know or believe different please let me know as I've got most of the issues around that date. If you send me a personal message through the "Message Member" bit at the bottom of this message with your e-mail address I can scan the article for you and send it as a pdf. It's only 5 pages so shouldn't be a big file. Keith
