I have to say I thought they (Geomagic) were taking the piss when they said they wanted to charge for access to tutorials to learn their system, not least as everyone else offers it for free. The local rep when I was living in Canada was also condescending in a very special way. All in all it wasn't the best introduction to the product.

Hopefully the new arrangements will be a bit more customer friendly. Who knows, if they had put more effort into it they might not have had to sell it back to Alibre. In the meantime, the market has evolved and products like Onshape and Fusion have changed the rules on purchase, "support" and subscription....
