Hi i am looking for drawings for 4-6-4 or a 4-8-4 american lokomotives for 7-1/2 or 7-1/4 tracks has there ever been printet something like this in ME ? i know i can buy them i the states but the shipment and tax to denmark is very high.

still working on the darjeeling train and i have a question about materiels for the hornbloks and axelboxes

is it possible to use cast iron instead of bronze ?

i have loads of good grade cast iron while the bronze is a little harder for me to get.

i am currently building the darjeeling train and my current buildt is the main well

on page 437 in me 8 oct 2010 there is a drawing of a side panel that i am working on right now on top of this panel there is conveks shape with radius 1 1/8 and it is to be placed 2 3/16 inch from center of the aksel well. is this correct ? on my brash plate when messuered out the radius goes longer then on the drawing

hope this makes sense

does anyone have fotos of a finished well tank they would like to share with me.

still collecting and looking at drawings and i Found a problem hopping somone can help me what is the lenght messuret from the bottom of the well tank to the center of the ø5/16 tube going thru the thank. It is Kissinger on the drawings

hi everyone i want to build the Darjeeling train and i am the search for materials right now.

the drawing says that the boiler has to be 4 3/4 inch in dia.

so i looked at macc models they only have it in 4 1/2 inch dia. so i looked at mk metal they have it in the right size but the prize pr meter is 660 pound.

is there anywhere else i can find this tube at a reasonable prise and length?

i am a subscriber and i think i have a chance to build the northumbrian from the ME

and I think they are very well written it was more a question of the intention was, that it should be written as a guide and build insktructions so i do not reach halfway through the project and it turns out that something is missing like plan etc.
