M-Machines sell Tufnol Strip & Sheet in various sizes. (They should cut it down to the size you want if you ask)

John,

Think it depends which browser you are using, I am using [Win 7 Pro - 64 Bit, IE 9 64 Bit] with compatability mode switched OFF and it displayed OK for me.

Looks OK to me. [Win 7 Pro - 64 Bit, IE 9 64 Bit]

(Dave must have fixed it)

I have always used either - Teroson Etch Primer Aerosol for Metal & Plastics. (C+L Finescale supply it) or the Phoenix Paints etch primer.

I always use the latter if I am going to use a Phonix top coat.

MichaelG' s example is fine on my PC ... Win 7 64 bit with IE 9.

Weird ... looks like a browser dependent issue again.

Nigel,

Nope not here ... Win 7 64 Bit and IE 9

Is it all threads or just 1 or 2 ... If just 1 or 2 then let DC1 (David Clark 1) know and he will get it fixed.

Thread: Staying loged in between visits

Windoze updates has not wiped out my "Remember me" information.

Deleting the Cookies in IE will though!

Dave

I see the same as John except I see a "Remember Me" tick box.

John seems to be missing the box headers as well (i.e Shopping PArtners)

Diane - I do see a photo of Ben Pavior  to the right of the Login box ... I get the Model Engineer banner across the top, the login box is in the top right under the banner, then the Shopping Partners is under that..

I am Win 7 64 bit and IE 9

Hi There

It is more likely it gets confused as I often have to log in as other members to sort digital issues out.

regards david

Does that mean that you can see or access our passwords?

Hi David

Are you signing on from 2 PC's ... when you login on the second PC, it will log you out of the first .... Just a thought.

Dave

I stay logged in all the time ... Magpie/Derek is correct ... you have to accept the Cookie Statement.

(If you reject it or ignore it, you will have to log in everytime.)

Thread: Which mini mill??
06/07/2012 18:56:03

I would go for the one with the bigger table and fixed column.

My Mill has a tilting column, but I have never used it , I tilt the work or use a tilting vice if needed. (I just don't want the hassle of resetting the column to ensure it is flat everytime.)

Thread: saddle tank made of copper?
02/07/2012 19:56:35

In my view there is no reason why you can't use Copper for the saddle tank ...

The only things ?I can think of against it are :-

a/ The cost

b/ Copper is a lot softer than brass (or steel) so will mark and dent a lot easier.

Hiya,

Downloaded the E** Index ... All works fine now Thanks

Dave

I am running Windows 7 Pro (64 bit) and all 3 start OK for me and do the searches OK, returning data.

The only problem I have seen is in the EIM one, if you enter Lilla into the Keyword, you get a error message. (Other Keywords seem to work OK ... a corrupt record perhaps)
