We all have had the friend that knows we " do a bit of engineering ". well my latest request is to drill 4No, 5mm holes through a piece of 6mm glass, I have never done this before , so here I am looking for guidance on how to do it and thanking anyone that can help me. Ken. |

I have recently purchased a Myford Super7, the number stamped on the rear of the bed is SK83292 and it is painted Myford green, can anyone tell me if it is possible to obtain any history on the machine ? Thanks . Ken. |

Hi Tony , yes you can get a 3 sided tool holder , I bought a bare casting a few years ago at one of the shows, when I remember from whome I will post it up. Ken. |

I am in process of restoring a 1930 Ford model A car which came from Argentina many years ago, when stripping one of the track rod ends I found that some enterprising gentleman had used one of his countries coins as a packing peice to take up the wear on the ball joint, it appears to be brass. |

Thankyou for your thoughts , it is a "chemical " solution that I was looking for such as Jenolite, as the finnish need not be as good as body work etc as they will only be in the garden. |

Thanks to all who have given advice, It des not have a cam lock so I asume it is screw fitting .I will give it a go over the next few days and does anyone have a 4 jaw chuck and face plate for sale,?. |

I have recently bought a Churchill Cub lathe of about 1950ish vintage unfortunately I cannot find out how to get the chuck off, it does not appear to have any locking devise, please help me. |
