Ramon, be very careful when using this dividing head in the horizontal mode, the main bore becomes open atthe bottom and needs tobe temporily plugged. I made a lantern pinion for a clock  and on undoing the chuck it dropped to the bottom and went straight into the body and jammed it in the horizontal mode, no way will it come out, i found it immpossible to dismantle the tool  so ihave now got a rotary table of sorts,and have now to replace with a new one. otherwise an excellant tool. Good luck
